Darts Rules
Principally, games of dart are played among individual players or two groups or teams. The teams may be composed of two or more players each. Variation of the game wherein it permits for more than two teams have been formulated but is not popular to players.
Generally, nine throws are permitted for each player serving as a “warm-up” prior to the beginning of the game. Then, to decide on which team or player goes first, a player will take his first turn of one dart and is thrown by a certain player from each respective team. The team whose dart is closest to the target or “bull's eye” gets to go first.
In each players turn, he should throw all of his three darts. Typically, darts of two sets will be thrown. A set by every team prior to retrieving the darts. If a players foot lands over the throwing line or a player accidentally trips over the line and then throws his dart, no points will be counted for such a throw and it can not be thrown again.
After the player's final and finishing throw, darts should be left on the board for at least a number of seconds in order that the score can be determined and added up. A throw resulting to a dart falling off the board or joins into any dart on the board will not make a score.
Darts that sticks to the board is scored accordingly:
Wedge - the number that is displayed or indicated on the “outer ring”.
Double ring – any number hit by the dart is scored two times.
The triple ring – any number hit by the dart scored three times.
Bulls eye – twenty-five points.
Double bulls eye - fifty points.
